If you travel with equipment such as firearm, audio-visual, or camera cases you need extra security when this equipment is checked with the airlines. However, until recent, the only locks you could use were the standard TSA locks which did not provide the additional security...until now.
The SearchAlert TSA Heavy Duty Case Lock is the only TSA Heavy Duty Lock on the market which is specifically designed for air travel with firearm or other equipment cases.
PLEASE NOTE:
THE TSA HEAVY DUTY CASE LOCK WILL NOT FIT STANDARD LUGGAGE ZIPPERS OR ANY CASES WHICH HAVE LOCK HOLES SMALLER THAN 1/4 INCH DIAMETER

NOTE:
All standard TSA locks and TSA SearchAlert locks have a shackle diameter of 1/8” of an inch. The Heavy Duty TSA SearchAlert Case Lock shackle is 1/4” inch thick – double the thickness of the standard shackle. Due to the shackle’s size, it will not fit luggage zippers. This lock will only fit case locks that have an opening of 1/4 inch or greater.
SearchAlert™ is the only TSA luggage lock that indicates when it has been opened with the patented SearchAlert™ window which changes from Green to Red.
Security Window Operating Instructions:
If a secured access device was used to open your SearchAlert lock, the color of the Security Window would change from Green to Red. To reset the window to Green see below:
1. Set dials to correct combination and pull up shackle
2. Turn shackle halfway around (180 degrees) and push down. The security window should change color back to Green.
3. Pull up shackle and the SearchAlert is ready for use.
