    Can The Viper Steering Wheel Lock fit all vehicles?

    The ViperLock's Double-Hook design can be fastened on most any steering wheel to achieve maximum security. It is rare that the ViperLock will not accommodate your vehicle's steering wheel. Any steering wheel stem narrower than 3 inches will function properly.

    Can the Air Bag Protection Plate fit all vehicles?

    There are two lengths to fit well with most standard steering wheel diameters: 13.75 inches and 17.25 inches. If your vehicle's airbag area is too arched to fit the protection plate, the plate is designed to bend a certain degree under enough pressure before fastening against the steering wheel.

    Do I need to use the Airbag Protection plate?

    Although the airbag plate is an optional accessory, we recommend using it, especially if your vehicle remains unattended for a long term period of time. The air bag is one of the most popular auto parts thieves like to steal because of the easy cash turnaround.

    What happens if I lose my key?

    The ViperLock is equipped with a high security lock cylinder that even locksmiths cannot duplicate. Consequently, it is extremely important to keep spare keys in a safe place and record the key code number when you purchase the ViperLock. The key code number is stamped on the neck of key handle or on the tag. There are 3 keys per ViperLock set, our suggestion (for your reference only) is to keep one key with your key chain and keep one safely at home. If you lose all 3 keys, simply provide your key code number via e-mail within 24 hours and we will be happy to send you a replacement.

    Do I need a key to lock or unlock the Viper device?

    Only when unlocking it. It has a self-locking feature and no key is needed to fasten it. Simply slide the embrace housing as close as possible to the double-hook, keeping your vehicle secure.
